This kitchen project was a little different in that we did the design and selections, but the homeowner did all the construction work themselves. We flipped the script on the traditional kitchen by going with dark cabinets on the permitter and light cabinets for the island. Our clients were empty nesters so rather than downsizing they decided to stay in their family home and finally make into the entertaining space they had always dreamed of.
